Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Grimoire mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by DankoDev, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password;
• All activity occurring under your account;
• Providing accurate account information.

You agree not to share your account credentials.

3. Description of the Service

Grimoire is a deck-building and collection management application for Magic: The Gathering players. The Service may include:

• Deck creation and storage;
• Collection management;
• Import and export features;
• Third-party card data;
• Optional AI-assisted deck building features.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all information you upload to the Service, including deck lists, collection information, and imported files. You grant the Company a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any law;
• Interfere with the Service;
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems;
• Reverse engineer or exploit the Service;
• Use automated systems to abuse the Service;
• Upload malicious code.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services and data providers, including but not limited to Scryfall, EDHREC, MTGJSON, Archidekt, and Anthropic. The Company is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. Your use of certain features may also be subject to those third parties' terms and policies.

7. AI Features

Certain features may use artificial intelligence services. AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate, may contain errors, and should not be considered authoritative. The Company makes no guarantees regarding AI-generated outputs.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, source code, designs, logos, graphics, and text, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Magic: The Gathering and related names and properties are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Grimoire is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or specifically approved by Wizards of the Coast LLC.

9. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify features, suspend features, discontinue the Service, or perform maintenance at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100); OR (B) THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO THE COMPANY IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the Effective Date and, where appropriate, through the application. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
